I will not pretend to know what truth is. It will always, in my limited consciousness, remain a perception. What I do know is that it does not include destruction of the things of others, killing of others, lying, cheating-just think ten commandments for a quick easy list. I still must believe that there is a reason why man was created. My best estimation is that, knowing the base corruption that would simultaneously appear with the goodness of that man, that still this creation believed that there was a very high potential for discourse on how we might all, someday, live together in peace, with each content with that being, and equal. That discourse is the Constitution.

Many of my socialist friends are thinking that tearing all of this down to be replaced with another communist party will assure freedom and well-being for all. It will not. It has not. Without exception, communism is a blight on the history of the world. It is believed that anywhere from 50 to 100 million people were killed in establishing communism in Russia and China. Russia finally booted it out, and if you think there is freedom in China you are free to move there.

In 1966, having lost my bearing on my path (actually I never had one) I was drafted, and spent a year in Viet Nam. I took an oath to that Constitution. To this day I owe my allegiance to the Constitution, the flag, and the Commander in Chief. Think me wrong, just don't find yourself on the wrong end of my sights. I feel ashamed and disappointed in you, that you would fall for the same mob attack on our lives, on mine as well as yours, on our children's lives, our grandchildren. How will they survive in a state where there are no human rights. Shame on you thinking only of yourself. Who will you call when the mob has taken down the last statue and bored they now come for you, and your little ones. And ask yourself why you are so willing to turn your back on your country. Because you hate one man so much? You've never met him. Does it surprise you that you hate him as the Jews hated Christ?
